 Q. Why "The Love of The Game"?

A.  Despite being a sports term I feel like it accurately describes my attitude towards gaming. I don't play to show off or win, I'm playing games because I love them. 

 

Q. Will you play Disney games from other platforms?

A. Yes, probably! I'm starting with GBA and DS games as those were consoles I played frequently growing up, and the consoles I usually played movie tie-ins on. If I finish all the Disney film GBA and DS games I wish to play, I will move on to GBC, NES, PC and maybe 3DS (though by 3DS time it seems the era of movie-games was coming to an end) 

 

Q. Why no Ice Age games? Disney bought Blue Sky animation.

A. For now I'm just doing games that were for movies owned by Disney at the time of the game's release, rather than later ownership. Pixar games are included because Disney had significant connections to Pixar even before their companies officially merged, which is probably why there's a lot of Pixar games.

Also I played a lot of Ice Age 2 The Meltdown for GBA growing up and my god is it frustrating.

Q. Why don't the final scores reflect the average of each category?

Not all categories are equal. Gameplay is the most important and thus weighted the highest. Storyline in games based on movies is normally very similar to the movie itself. An ugly game with excellent gameplay with a terrible storyline may be 3 stars instead of the expected 2 stars it would be if all categories were equal.

 

 Q. You mention keyboard controls sometimes. Do you play on emuator? 

Yes, I play on emulator, for ease of screenshots. I do not own a capture card. 

 

 Q. What are your favorite games, genres, etc?

A. My favorite game is Digimon Story Hacker's Memory. I also love Skyrim, Oblivion, Cattails and Cattails Wildwood Story, Fallout: New Vegas, the Pokemon games, Spore, Cassette Beasts, Anode Heart, Inscryption, Wolfquest, Yoshi's Story, and so many more. 

My favorite genres are RPGs and Simulation games but I'll play most genres if the game interests me.
